The purpose of the military ring is to commemorate your time in service. It is an heirloom which serves as a monument to your military accomplishments. It also serves to tell your story of military service to all who see it. You can use the ring to paint a picture of your service by placing the service years on it. You may also choose to place a unit crest on your ring to depict one or more of the units that you served with in the military. Many of our customers will do this although you will probably have served with more units. They will pick the one which is more important to them. It may be a unit that you served with during war time or conflict, or it could be a unit which was very successful while you were in it.
You can also choose a custom design to represent the military conflict that you were a part of. We have created designs for every major conflict that our military has been involved in since the Vietnam War. We have even created designs to commemorate Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Many of our military ring customers have even placed the names or initials of their deceased comrades on the side panels of their rings as a monument to honor them for giving their all to the service of their country. There is no right or wrong way to create your military ring. You must use it to capture the things that are meaningful to you.
Whenever I have a customer who seems to be a little bit unsure about the way that they should design their military ring i will tell them to take all of the time that they need to think about what they want to do and come back to see me later. Meanwhile I will get the customers phone number and check with them from time to time to see how they are progressing, I have seen military ring dealers who will push and dictate what will go on the ring because they want the sale. We honestly want the sale just as much but we won't push and badger you. We allow you to choose your own customization. We want your military ring to be a special thing to you. When you put it on your finger we want you to feel confident in what you have.
To make a long story short and to answer the question of
what is the purpose of a military ring, let me say this, the piurpose of a military ring is to tell the story of your time in service. Study all of the options that we have available to you and call us (912-877-4734) when you get ready to design your military ring.
The Military was a place of which I have many fond memories. I'm sure that we all do. I could start talking now and go on for days and never tell the whole story.
The custom military ring is such a valuable heirloom because there are so many ways that you can customize it to tell just about any story that you want to tell. Some customers will mix different service insignias if they have served in more than one branch of service. Use your military ring to recapture those joyful memories.
