This round is one of my favorites and was developed and first used because of its stopping power. The army needed something with stopping power against attacking determined enemy soldiers who had no intention of stopping until they had taken you out along with everybody else who even remotely looked like you.

It has a low muzzle velocity which works with its large size to give it stopping power. This round will probably put your enemy down no matter where it hits him. That is the reason that I like it so well. When you think about the physics of this round think of it as getting hit with a brick rather than a pebble. The pebble will definitely sting you but the brick is going to definitely put you on your butt.

It will definitely put a large hole in whatever it hits which also makes it more effective. The large hole means a more rapid loss of blood and thus a faster loss of consciousness.

It was helpful in stopping dope crazed combatants who were too spaced out to even know that they were shot. I have heard stories from several of my  Vietnam veterans military ring customers.
