  1. mirvYou Air Force ring, and Navy ring customers can talk about this much better than I can but a MIRV is basically a nuclear missile with several warheads. They were a way around the SALT treaty which limited the number of missiles that participants could have but not the number of warheads.

MIRV's pack more of a punch when they impact in a tight area than a larger more powerful warhead will. I read the reason why but it kind of messed with my head because it is so complicated so I won't even try to explain it. Maybe some of you custom military ring customers who are in the Air Force or Navy can elaborate for us. We will be glad to hear from you. I will try to elaborate the way that I comprehended it. When the MIRV drops a scattered load of warheads even though they are much less explosive than one huge warhead. The explosive power is more because more pressure is spread over the area. The power of the large warhead will dissipate without covering as large of an area. Do you feel me?

Tne MIRV can also be used to destroy different targets also which greatly enhances their value. One MIRV can do the work of several single nuclear missiles. We would like for one of you bright custom military ring customers to enlighten us some more on this subject.
