You all check this out. I ran across this today in my research and just had to do a post on it. I can't tell you a whole lot because I need to do a whole lot more research and the subject is so advanced that it messes with my mind so here is the little bit that I can talk about.

Future Force Warrior is a project which is a part of the Future Combat Systems Project. As far as I can determine the goal of this project is to integrate the soldier and his equipment into a fighting system. The way that I see it is something like producing a Robocop or Bionic man but not quite as drastic.

This project will use nanotechnology, (my best description of this is miniature robots) exoskeletons, which I describe as outer clothing which may function as body armor or even have other functions, and magnetorheological fluid based body armor (I have no earthly idea of what this is). The complete product will consist of six systems which you can pretty much figure out when you look at them. They are; 1)The Headgear Subsystem 2) The Combat Uniform Subsystem 3) The Weapons Subsystem 4)The Warfighter Physiological Status Monitor Subsystem 5) The Microclimate Conditioning System and 6) The Power Subsystem.

It would take up too much time to try to break down each subsystem here but you get the idea. Maybe I will come back at a later time and do so, but all of you are welcome to add what you can at any time. This topic is deep but we military ring folks here can tackle it if we take it in small bites.
