A mercenary is essentially a soldier who is hired by a country that he or she is not a citizen of to fight for pay. The mercenary is very well paid for his services and normally has no interest in the reasons or goals or cause of the war. They are normally people who have served in the armed forces of some country and discovered that they enjoy fighting. Now keep in mind that all of what I am wriring here may or may not be true.

The mercenary is not a member of the armed forces of the country that they are fighting for. I thought that the French Legionaires were mercenarys until I did a little research for this article. They are not classified as mercenarys simply because they join the French Army in order to become a part of the Legion.

I believe that a mercenary is a better soldier simply because he has been around for a while, have probably been involved in conflicts and wars, and is a professional soldier who actually enjoys being involved in combat. I have been involved in ground combat and I didn't like anything about it at all. It was SCARY!!! call me a chump if you want to. I think that its better to be a living chump than a dead lion.

We have done many things over the years with the custom military rings that we produce but we have yet to create a mercenary's ring although we could if we had to. It would be a challenge but we could pull it off to your satisfaction.
