The initials LCAC refers to the Marine Landing Craft Air Cushion. Now at this point you may ask me why in the world are you talking about that? And what in the world difference does it make about anything? Well grasshopper let me educate you.

The LCAC gets my top equipment rating of "One bad Mamma Jamma." It is officially classified as a Hovercraft. It can be used to, check this out; transport weapons, equipment, carco, and personnel from ship to shore and also across the beach. The unclassified maximum speed of the LCAC is 70+ knots and it has a 200 to 300 mile range. That is not all my friend, let me give you some more information about this piece of equipment. It can carry up to 180 fully equipped marines or 60 tons of equipment. It can also be armed with 2 12.7mm machine guns, or a 50cal, or M60, or a Gatling gun. I would want the Gatling gun personally. It can also be equipped with a 40mm grenade launcher.

This bad boy can also be used for beach landings, personnel transport, evacuation support, lane breaching, anti mine operations, and whatever else it is needed to do. Thats what I call versatile my friend. All of our military ring customers can really be proud of the technology that they have to do their jobs.
