This new vehicle is the baby of the Army and Marine Corps. It has not been fielded yet but it plans to be a humdinger when it is. The services are very pleased with what has been accomplished so far but I am not really sure of exactly what it will do. 

The advent of the IED during the present crises caused the current Humvee to be changed into something that it wasn't really designed to be. When I read about this new vehicle I got the impression that it will be capable of many more diverse functions than the Humvee. I don't know much about this one at all but if any of you out there do please let us know what you find out. The military ring man will attempt to stay on top of this one.
