The US military will greatly bolster its surveillance capabilities in Afghanistan during the upcoming troop surge. I can see major benefits in this strategy since I am a former military man. It will definitely help out all of our military ring colleagues who will be involved in Operation Enduring Freedom. There will be more troops of all branches who will want Operation Enduring Freedom rings as a result of this surge. 

The major advantage is that this will be a force multiplier for our troops. The use of this expanded technology will reduce the need for manpower. For example our Army and marine military ring customers won't have to be everywhere at the same time. The aerial surveillance allow commanders to direct our resources to where they are needed. Since the area that they have to cover is vast this will be a great help. We won't need forces all over the place. The surveillance will spot the problem and forces can be dispatched to deal with it.

Some of the different equipment that will be sent will be MC-12W piloted surveillance planes and Gordon Stare high tech video sensors. We need to use every tool that we have to its maximum advantage in order to win this war. There is a lot of other classified and unclassified surveillance equipment in use that our Air Force military ring customers are aware of. I believe that this troop surge will be a stunning success.
