Celestrium is the common term that we use to refer to the jeweller's alloy which we use to make our Custom Military Rings. Celestrium is the same as Valadium. The name was changed to celestrium after we added a new catalog and changed the names of some of our ring designs.
There are definite advantages to purchasing a celestrium ring, the first being cost. Celestrium rings cost less than 1/3 the price of gold so if you are on a tight budget this may be the ring for you. In addition to costing less the celestrium ring is actually stronger than gold. Now lets add a cherry on top. Celestrium looks almost identical to gold. The only person that can tell the difference by looking is the person who has a well trained eye.
Celestrium is extremely resistant to scratching, tarnishing, and chemical corrosion. I have used the same rings for years as display rings and they still look brand new. They have been dropped, stepped on and are handled by myself and customers almost every day and yet they still look good. I met a customer once who had bought a celestrium ring from us a few years before, his ring looked brand new which is especially good since he also uses it as a bottle opener.
I have never cleaned the celestrium display rings that I have. When customers ask for cleaning instructions, I tell them to just polish the ring with a cloth.
These are the reason's that jewellers like to use celestrium. It is also easy for jewellers to mold and work with. In addition to all of this remember that all of the custom work that we do for you is free.
