Carrier Strike Group 1 (CSG 1) has been established by the Navy. This new Strike Group will be based in San Diego with the mission to support US Navy in the Pacific Ocean. The flag ship of this new group will be the USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). The mission of this group is very diverse and with the technology that we have available I am sure that it will be well able to handle any assigned mission. The other factor will will make this group formidible is the quality of the sailors that we have in our Navy.

Responsibilities of this Strike Group will be to help promote regional partnerships, to deter crisis, to project power, to promote maritime security, and to provide human assistance, and/or disaster relief.

You can see that the list of duties and responsibilities is a long one. The Navy has every confidence that this group can accomplish every task. We offer the huge number of custom designs for the US Navy military ring so that a sailor with that Strike Group will be able to tell any and every aspect of his or her military service with a military commemorative ring.
